API Developer in Zürich

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using Python. Design and implement FastAPI and GraphQL to support web applications. Collaborate with backend, data modellers & front‐end developers to integrate user‐facing elements with server‐side logic. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and debug applications. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Encourage and adhere to best practices for software development. Think and enable automation in SDLC.
Qualifications: 8+ years of IT experience. Strong experience in Python web development. Proficiency in working with python web library such as FastAPI. Solid understanding of Json data handling with FastAPI and GraphQL. Experience with integration of APIs to front‐end technologies such as Angular.JS, Node.Js, HTML and CSS. Familiarity with database systems like GCP BigQuery or similar. Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git. Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to work under pressure. Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Kubernetes/ Docker. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and relevant tools. Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
