Wir suchen eine/n Global Clinical Materials Manager (m/f/d) (S) – Metropolregion Basel****Tasks & Responsibilities:
Act as the primary contact to ensure the availability of drug products and packaging materials for clinical manufacturing, with the following duties:
Maintain accurate master data for all drug products and packaging materials.
Gather and organize product-specific information and documentation related to drug products and packaging materials.
Define, request, and update master data for drug products and packaging materials within SAP systems.
Plan and manage the procurement of packaging materials in SAP systems.
Oversee purchase orders for Roche development, partner, and commercial drug products, as well as external commercial drug products, ensuring use of the appropriate procurement systems.
Handle purchase orders for packaging materials using relevant procurement platforms.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Coordinate and manage relationships with suppliers of drug products and packaging materials for the Clinical Supply Chain. Establish transparency in supplier performance through KPIs and implement actions for continuous improvement. Support warehouse teams with goods receipt queries and perform virtual goods receipt processes. Ensure batch availability of drug products and packaging materials for manufacturing:
Compile GMP- and customs-compliant goods receipt dossiers for QA release. Maintain GMP and non-GMP batch data in SAP systems. Ensure timely QA release or Authorization for Further Manufacturing (AFM) of drug products and packaging materials. Handle and document shelf-life extensions for packaging materials and drug products at material and batch levels. Manage issue resolution for procurement and goods receipt processes:
Proactively address challenges related to global clinical supply procurement and coordinate with relevant stakeholders. Actively participate in GMP deviation and change management processes. Provide support during inspections and audits. Drive performance monitoring and process improvements:
Monitor team and vendor performance KPIs, independently developing and implementing improvement initiatives. Lead or contribute to global and local projects aimed at optimizing Clinical Supply processes. Collaborate with Business Process Managers to address issues and drive improvements at both global and local levels. Support system enhancements and documentation:
Contribute to system improvements, update SOPs, and create or revise training materials supporting daily operations. Independently work on system optimization in SAP CLARA P96Must-Haves:
Associate-level education, university degree in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical fields, Supply Chain Management, or a master’s degree (*****).
At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry or supply chain management (*****).
Proficiency in SAP ERP systems (*****).
Strong cultural awareness and interpersonal skills, essential for effective communication in diverse, global teams.
Excellent collaboration, teamwork, and negotiation capabilities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, attention to detail, and technical aptitude (**).
Adherence to GMP standards and procedures.
Proven ability to independently manage projects from conception to execution.
Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks effectively (***).
Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written (fluent English required; basic German is a plus).
A customer-centric approach with the ability to build and maintain trust-based business relationships.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply a wide range of skills.
