Head of Quality in Schaffhausen

A Key client of ours is looking for a leader to look over the Quality department and take on the following responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Quality Assurance, Quality Management, and Quality Improvement departments.
Serve as the primary contact for quality-related customer inquiries and contracts.
Oversee continuous development of the quality management system in compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
Ensure high-quality standards are met through Total Quality Management (TQM) practices.
Implement and achieve company quality objectives.
Plan, conduct, and oversee both internal and external audits.
Manage quality management (QM) methodologies, including FMEA, risk analyses, and test planning.
Prepare, implement, document, and monitor corrective actions during system audits per EN ISO 13485 requirements.
Write and present the annual Quality Report.
Organize training programs, develop training materials, and establish training plans.
Advise departments on guidelines, statistical methods, and supporting tools.
Act as the key decision-maker for quality-related questions, deviations, and document control.

Your Profile

Technical background with a degree (university, technical college, or equivalent).
At least 5 years of experience in employee and project management.
Additional qualifications in quality management, with strong experience in process management and quality assurance in an industrial setting.
Skilled in recognized methodologies such as Lean Management and Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP).
Communicative and proactive, with a structured, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial approach.
Sociable and open-minded, with fluency in both German and English.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
