Securities Settlements & Asset Transfers Specialist in Zürich

Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring end‐to‐end processing of free‐of‐payment portfolio transfers for our private clients. This involves coordinating the alignment with all involved parties and captures instructions, including monitoring of successful settlement in global markets.
Key Responsibilities: Receive and validate client settlement orders and process exceptions on settlement orders. Match Standard Settlement Instructions ﴾SSI's﴿ with enriching asset transfer transactions for counterparty custodians. Monitor, identify, and raise settlement fails on both position and cash side. Liaise with internal partners and external counterparties ﴾e.g. custodian banks﴿ in order to resolve breaks, issues, and queries. Repair and release of settlement instruction of custody transactions in the various markets worldwide. Manage clients' e‐mail queries related to existing/potential transactions.
Required Skills & Experience: Good understanding of securities markets especially functions of a custodian. Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, specifically MT54x settlement instructions. Understanding of securities markets, in particular the functions of a custodian bank. Knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products with an understanding of processing confirmations and settlements. Profound experience in securities settlements ﴾capturing, instructing & monitoring orders﴿.
