Deine Rolle

The Test Engineer ensures the quality of new functionalities in applications, by executing exhaustive tests, following the defined test strategy for the project and by using state-of-the-art test tools. He/she will ensure the quality of existing functionalities by executing regression tests. He/she will report any difference on expected results to the development teams.

Deine Verantwortung

You will be working in highly motivated teams speaking a colorful mix of Swiss German, French, English and Dutch. In the Testing Team we're responsible for supporting Test activities for our internal and external customers worldwide.
The team is mainly located in Switzerland and Belgium.
We strive to help to analyse issues, support certifications and End2End Tests for our customers in the international cashless payment business.
Our services are not tolerant of downtime, high availability is in our DNA.

You will:

read, analyze and review all the project documents, design and write test-scripts, based on received documents and execute the test-scripts
Create and document the issues (defects)
undertake the close follow-up of the correction of the defects
closely collaborate with development (SCRUM) teams
Support external customers/schemes during their acceptance test phases
be involved in maintenance phase for bugs discovered in production systems (reproduce, test corrections...)
Support the implementation of test automation where possible

Deine Skills

Bachelor degree in computer science or a similar education with focus on IT
Good oral and written skills in German and English
Basic UNIX- and SQL-Database knowledge
Experience with defect management tools like JIRA XRAY is an advantage
Know-how of "Cashless payment" methods is an advantage
The relentless will to learn new things and continuously improve
The natural will to take ownership
Agile mindset with strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
Capable of working under pressure
Well skilled and highly motivated people
